Since 1998, we have been using this
product on people allergic to conventional hair colors who

EcoColors Hair color is gluten free, ppd free (p Phenylenediamine free), propylene glycol free and ethanolamine free as well as sulfite free, propylene glycol free and paraben free.. We use diluted
aqua ammonia
which is non toxic and will not leave any toxic residue on the hair unlike ammonia substitutes such as ethanolamine, which is toxic and always present in "no ammonia" hair colors and breaks down into formaldehyde.
EcoColors Haircolor contains lanolin, the lanolin is taken from sheep's wool.
The sheep are not harmed or killed in this process. We use silk to strengthen the hair , the silk is harvested from the silk worm's cocoon after they emerge.
EcoColors does not test on animals.
