To darken the roots, apply Dark Ash Brown mixed with equal parts developer/THEN dilute this entire mixture by half with water, Apply to the roots only for 5-10 minutes. To avoid challenges with any new color formulation we always recommend you follow the directions and do an allergy test and a strand test according to the directions before applying any new color to your entire head. Since your ends are the color you like, in the future you may want to use the Dark Ash Brown at the roots ONLY to maintain the lighter color choice.Do not reapply color through the ends.
