All the EcoColors Haircolor Home Kits contain a "20 volume" developer which is the proper formulation for gray coverage or 1-2 levels of lightening. Always mix equal parts color to developer. Always do a strand test and an allergy test according to the kit directions before applying any new color to your entire head. Also be sure to read the instructions on how to color previously colored ends wit a diluted formula.
