To get a dark red brown depends on what you are starting with..Is your hair medium or dark brown and what is your percentage of gray? A standard formula might be bright red and dark brown(equal parts) OR two parts bright red to one part dark brown. If it is still too light then try three parts bright red and one part black. If it is not copper enough then add one part golden blonde warm to the formula. ALWAYS do a strand test before applying any new color formulation to your entire head.
