I recently applied red henna to my hair. It looks okay, but my roots are a little darker than the rest. I have dark ash blonde hair naturally and the rest was previously colored light blonde. I am extremely allergic to most hair dyes and would like to try yours. How long must I wait to color over the henna? I understand it may not cover well since henna coats the hair. Also, I am considering going back to medium ash blonde. Will that shade cover any red that may still be present in my hair? If not, which red shade would you recommend to achieve a subtle red/blonde shade?
