Highlighted hair may or may not be damaged. ALWAYS do a strand test before applying any new color to your entire head. If you would like your hair to be dark, use EcoColors black. If you would like to encourage some warm tones in your black hair, try Ecocolors medium brown or dark brown. ALWAYS apply the color diluted by half with water to your highlighted ends. If you have some grays throughout the highlighted ends, tey may not get full coverage, as you should NOT apply Ecocolors full strength(equal parts color and developer) to highlighted ends.
