In the Journal Crit Rev of Toxicology, July 2007, a study came out debating the carcinigenicity of the chemicals you mentioned. The study does mention the toxicity of dyes used before 1980.High amounts of PPD(still in some mainstream color brands) may cause illness. High amounts of other oxidative dyes coupled with other chemicals may also cause illness or mutation. Ecocolors does not contain phenylinediamine (ppd)
