I have dark brown hair with strands of gray around the hairline, and was wondering what would be the best color products to use on my hair. Also, are the home kits easy to apply, as I have always had hair color applied professionally and have never done it myself. Is the hair color permanent, or will it have to be retouched after a month or so? Also, I wanted to lighten my hair a shade from medium brown to light brown; if I used this product would it eventually lighten the gray that comes in around my hair line?
