Hello Lisa! I tried a formula on a client today to try to help her move toward a home kit, but it did not cover her grey as well as hoped for. Here is info: She is a natural level 5, desired level 7 and has about 30% grey, but has grey "spots" in temples and right along the edge of her front hairline that she is particular about. I used 10cc's med. Brown + 10cc's Lt. Brown + 10cc's of lt. drabber + 30cc's 20 vol. I pre-applied some 20 vol to temples with cotton, applied color to her roots and put her under dryer for first 5 minutes and then left on additional 40 minutes. It covered okay, but was too shear. What else can I try? Darker shade? Help... she would really like to do it at home, but we need the right formula. thanks, Bernadette Milani
