misleading medical newsletter from a henna company

We just reviewed a misleading "medical newsletter" distributed in local health food store about the medical studies linking hair dye with breast cancer and bladder cancer. Most studies were before 1980. The toxic ingredient used in color before 1980 has been outlawed. Some of the studies were not even about haircolor, but about metal workers and shoemaker's exposures relating to children with brain tumors. If you color your hair, be concerned of what chemicals are present in the haircolor and what QUANTITY of chemical you are being exposed to.   If you are a woman with benign breast disease, a diet of processed foods, pesticide exposure, and a toxic haircolor will all increase your chances of breast cancer.    EcoColors Haircolor contains non-toxic quantities of ingredients. But using Ecocolors alone, will not prevent cancer . A diet high in greens, fiber, fresh water, organic foods, exercise and stress reduction will all contribute to a healthy and long life.
