Fadage from gray areas may occur for the following reasons: ~Using an alkaline shampoo may strip the color ~Applying the color inconsitently and leaving pockets of air on the roots ~resistant grays may need heat application on the color for the first five minutes of processing time(with a plastic cap) ~If the gray is resistant, apply the color to the roots of the hair and if you have more color, do a second application on top of the first application(to make sure the grays are thoroughly covered with color mixture)before starting your 45 minute processing time.
