allergy to cobalt dichloride / ingredient in brown hair dyes

Recently I was diagnosed with an allergy to cobalt dichloride. It's a common metal and among other uses, cobalt salts are found in pigments in light brown hair dyes. My symptoms (itchy scalp, slight rash on shoulders/back) seem to coorespond to two visits for hair coloring. I've been trying to find out if the product (Clairol 2nd Nature) used in my salon contains this ingredient to verify if the coloring is the culprit. No one can give me an answer. Is anyone familiar with this product & it's ingredients? Are there other alternatives for me? My hair color is medium/dark brown; I touch up the color mainly to cover the gray hair which is starting to appear. Any information and/or other products I could use would be very welcomed.
