We must tell you we have been using this
product on people allergic to conventional hair colors who
have had NO reactions to EcoColors Haircolor. Stylists who thought they would have to leave the hair coloring
profession because of chemical sensitivities have been able to
continue their art of hair coloring by using EcoColors
Haircolor. The best proof of the quality of EcoColors Haircolor
is in the satisfaction of our users!
EcoColors Hair color is gluten free, ppd free (p Phenylenediamine free), propylene glycol free and ethanolamine free. We use diluted
which is non toxic and will not leave any toxic residue on the hair unlike ammonia substitutes such as ethanolamines, which is toxic and always present in "no ammonia" hair colors and breaks down into formaldehyde.
EcoColors Haircolor contains lanolin, the lanolin is taken from sheep's wool.
The sheep are not harmed or killed in this process. We use silk to strengthen the hair , the silk is harvested from the silk worm's cocoon after they emerge.
EcoColors does not test on animals.
* A central concept of toxicology is that effects are dose-dependent; even water can lead to water intoxication when taken in large enough doses, whereas for even a very toxic substance such as snake venom there is a dose below which there is no detectable toxic effect.
