I use Ecocolors and my hair has never felt better. Perhaps the shampoos you are using are too harsh, or you have applied the haircolor improperly. I followed the directions and applied it full strength to the new growth and then diluted the remaining color mixture by half with water to apply to the ends. I was told if you apply it from the roots to the end every time at full strength, it would not be good for your hair because the ends are more sensitive than the gray roots. I have tried other brands that were sooo drying, but not Ecocolors.
