Developer must always have a sealed cap and it can be stored for up to a year as long as you have a cap on the developer and it’s stored without extreme cold or heat. You could use part and recap it and save the remaining opened developer( with a closed cap) for a few months . Always perform a test strand to be sure you like the end result.
