I am new to your product and fairly new to dying. I've been to an Aveda Salon twice in the past 2 years. In terms of toxicity, are your products similar to or safer than Aveda's? Also, I wanted merely to cover my grey or blend it in with my natural color hair (dark brown with auburn highlights that become blonder after sun exposure). Aveda dyed my entire head and then added caramel/auburn highlights which lightened to coppery-blond over time. I was satisfied with the results, but would like a home-based product. I have purchased your reddish brown to test on a small section of hair. Any suggestions/precautions for getting grey coverage at the top of my head, while maintaining my natural color below as much as possible?
