Our reply is based on the information you provided comparing EcoColors to the current brand you are using. This is only a guess since we do not se your hair texture, color or porosity. It's always recommended you do a test strand according to the kit directions before applying any new formulation to your entire head.If the test strand appears to be too dark, you can always adjust your formulation and try another test strand until you get a formulation that looks correct for your individual head of hair. Remember to always mix equal parts color to developer at your roots(grays) and process 30-45 min. If you want to repigmentize previously colored ends, follow the directions by using a formula of equal part color to developer DILUTED by half with water and left on the ends for only 5 minutes. If you think the formula provided to you is too dark, shoot for something a little lighter and adjust from there.
