Since EcoColors contains many natural oils, our suggestion is to make sure when you apply EcoColors, always apply equal parts color to developer on the roots or grays and process anywhere from 30-45 minutes depending on the porosity of the hair. For ENDS, always apply a 5 volume formula, or dilute your remaining gray coverage formula by half with water, and apply to porous or previously colored ends for ten minutes max. When shampooing with EcoColors shampoo, be sure to apply shampoo to ends to remove the color. Another suggestion is to be sure to shake the color and developer bottles before you mix them to distribute the natural oils throughout the bottle.
