I have used almost every color from dark blonde to dark brown and I tried the reddish brown. I want my hair to be a medium red/auburn color. No matter what I try it never seems dark enough. The best result I have gotten so far is the with the dark brown, which is really still not that dark and definitely not red. I tried just the red, but it is much too light. My hair is mostly white and the results are always lighter than I want. What will happen if use the black as a base with a red? Any suggestions?
