The EcoColors Dark Brown will be a medium brown on highlights, but it may make your natural dark brown have red undertones. If you have natural red undertones, you might want to try dark ash brown. ALWAYS do a strand test before applying any new color formulation to your entire ehad. If you are not covering gray, you can apply the color formulation diluted by half with water to your previously colored ends.
