RE: looking for the correct shade of med brown hair
Gray hair may have a tendency to be resistant to EcoColors so the color should be left on for 45 minutes on resistant grays. We recommend you ALWAYs do an allergy patch test and a strand test according to the kit diections before applying any new color to your entire head. On gray hair, Ecocolors will be one shade lighte, so medium brown will usually look light brown.Always do a strand test to be sure. Lightening dark brown hair without getting red is improbable at home. An experienced licensed stylist may be able to achieve this with highlights and toning.
