If your roots are dark brown, AND you were a blonde as a child, you may be able to use golden blonde warm to cover the gray without unwanted red tones. If you were a brunette as a child, you will not be able to achieve this with the EcoColors Home Kits (it can be done by professionals using EcoColors Professional Line). ALWAYS do an allergy patch test and a STRAND test according to the kit directions before applying any new color to your entire head. Remember that every head of hair will react differently to the same color, so a strand test will insure you seeing the results before applying to your entire head.
