I used the light auburn (which, on a strand test, turned out absolutely gorgeous!). I was SO pleased to find no burning or itching on the patch test - I'm either allergic or chemically sensitive to other salon colors, so I just wanted to make sure that this whitening of the skin was not an allergic reaction. (Cuz I can't wait to do my whole head!) Danielle
