Great product! I am a guy with short, dark brown hair (20% gray around the temples). I used the dark brown home kit and it left a (slight) red tint, which I would like to remove. I am going to re-color with Dark Ash Brown. How long do I have to wait before I can apply the new color? Also, my hair is very short (1.5"). How important is it that I dilute the color before placing it on the ends? When I put the color onto the roots, it virtually covers the ends as well.
