Apply equal parts color to developer. Apply the color/developer mixture to gray hair. Let it process with a plastic cap on for 45 minutes. If you would like to repigmentize previously colored ends, be sure to follow the instructions on how to color the ends with a diluted formula(the last 5-10 minutes of processing time).
