I have had allergic reactions to drug store commercial hair dyes and have experienced hair loss. I also went to a dermatologist who felt the hair loss was not due to the dye,but perhaps hereditary hair loss and nutirtion. The dermatologist recommended Rogaine & the B-vitamin biotin. I tried both,but they only helped a little. I then learned of a hair care line of products Nioxin on the internet. The shampoos, scalp treatment, vitamins & styling products are sold at salons. The Nioxin products stopped my excessive hair loss, but did not resolve my allergy to commercial dyes....so I think I'm going to try EcoColors for that.
