RE: High lift

You can apply the high lift colors on new growth with fast developer if you are looking for lift but not much deposit. If you have gray you won't get enough pigment to cover the grays with the high lift shades.   Always use a five, ten or regular(20) volume developer with the Rosemary lightener . Using fast developer or extra fast with Rosemary lightener is not advisable because the higher the developer, the more oxygen bubbles created inside the hair shaft( which can weaken the hair integrity) . The only exception to this rule is if you use Olaplex, which EcoColors does not sell. If you lift slowly with Rosemary lightener and a five volume , you will have no damage and you can watch and stop the lifting in a brown stage, making it unnecessary to tone. If you must tone use light brown or a mix of light br and light drabber and five volume for five to ten min on wet hair.
