If you do not want that color, and want to make it more neutral, try using just medium brown or using more medium brown. When coloring your hair, always do the roots with equal parts color and developer and then apply a diluted formula(root formula diluted by half with water) to the ends for the last five minutes. Do a STRAND test to determine the best processing time and best formula for you.
